Jewellery and money stolen during burglaries

Detectives are appealing for information following two house burglaries that occurred in the Pinehill Road area of Drumbo on Thursday, October 27.

Police have said that one house was broken into sometime between 10.10am and 12.20pm while the other was broken into sometime between 7.40am and 3.10pm. Jewellery and an amount of money were stolen in the burglaries.

Detective Constable Chris Perks said: “These two incidents are being linked at this time and I would appeal to anyone who knows anything about them, or anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area, to contact detectives at Lisburn Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 488 of 27/10/16. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
