Industrial tools stolen
POLICE are investigating the theft of a number of industrial tools during two separate incidents last week.
Sometime on Thursday (March 4), thieves broke into a contractor’s container at Manse Road and stole a number of items including Bosch drills, a chainsaw and a pipeloader.
Meanwhile, the following day between 3pm and 4.20pm thieves made off with a yellow coloured Atlas hydraulic breaker and heavy duty bolster from the back of a flatbed lorry parked at Clareville Avenue, Ballyclare.
Officers investigating both incidents have appealed for anyone with information to contact them at Newtownabbey Station.
