Increase in council funding
Environment Minister Mark H Durkan has announced an increase in funding for Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.
The extra funding of £459,219 is being made available and the council will also be able to claim from an additional £0.5million being given to councils for Emergency Planning.
The Minister said, “I am certain that (the) Council will welcome this additional funding and that it will to some extent ease the financial difficulties they have been facing.”
