Inaugural cycle challenge for the Special Olympics

IF you are one of the many people who feels inspired to get active following the recent Olympic Games in London why not sign up to take part in the inaugural Dundalk to Scarva Cycle Challenge in aid of Special Olympics Ireland.

The event, which is sponsored by FPM, will take place on Saturday September 1, and will cover a route of 90km around the fabulous surrounds of Ravensdale National Park and Flagstaff then through Newry and onto the towpath to Scarva.

There will be two different routes on offer on the return section of the cycle; for seasoned cyclists looking for a challenge take on the hills around Long Women’s Grave and then back to Dundalk while the alternative route brings you back through Ravensdale to Dundalk Stadium.
