Inaugural Banbridge meeting of University of Third Age

Over the past few months the committee have been meeting to discover and discuss every aspect of forming our own U3A for our area. Now we are ready to open up the exciting possibilities to the public and welcome new members.

The University of the Third Age (U3A) is the nationwide organisation based on local groups providing opportunities for retired and semi-retired people to come together and develop their interests.

The U3A is voluntary. Members share their knowledge and experience with others in interest groups, running a wide range of informal activities. Learning opportunities, outdoor pursuits, social events, are included as is making, playing, thinking and doing.
