IN PICTURES: the spectacular Northern Lights at Ballintoy
The magnificent Northern Lights were visible last night (Wednesday) at Sheep Island near Ballintoy as the Earth moved into a new alignment with the Sun.
Currently the chance of witnessing the aurora borealis is high in areas such as North Wales, Northern England, Scotland and Ireland.
