The fifth charge is that on a date unknown, he had sexual intercourse with a living animal.

Last Thursday Prosecution told the court that a full file remains outstanding. His solicitor asked if his client could be excused from attending court again on 2 October, as he has secured employment in a hotel in the Portrush area.

District Judge Mr Copeland said given the lapse in time until the next appearance and the seriousness of te charges, it was “not inappropriate” for him to find the time to attend court.
