Ho, ho, ho - Santa’s at Irish Linen Centre for Christmas

SANTA’S Grotto is open at the Irish Linen Centre and Lisburn Museum from now until Christmas Eve.

Admission is free of charge and every child who visits Santa will receive a small gift, with donations towards the Mayor’s Charity, the Lisburn2gether Special Olympics, being very welcome.

Opening hours are from now until Saturday 24 December 2011 on the following days and times:

1.30pm –4.30pm Monday to Friday, 10.30am –4.30pm on Saturday and 9.30am –12.30pm on Christmas Eve.

School/Group Bookings are welcome from 10.00am-12.00pm Monday through Friday. Bookings should be made in advance by contacting Reception at the Irish Linen Centre on Tel: 028 9266 3377.

The Mayor, Councillor Brian Heading, and his grandson, Aodhan, visited Santa at the Grotto this week. The Mayor said that all contributions, great or small, are very much appreciated to further the work of Lisburn2gether Special Olympics.

“Lisburn 2gether Special Olympics have worked steadily over the years to allow those with an intellectual disability to compete in their chosen sports at a local, national and international level,” said the Mayor and donations towards their work from those visiting Santa is very much appreciated.
