Highways & Byways bus tour

IF you are interested in going on the 'Highways & Byways' Tour on Saturday, June 26 you better be quick as it is booking up fast.

Mid-Antrim Museum has organised the ‘Highways & Byways’ tour based around the stories of local legends.

The coach will be visiting Galgorm Castle, Arthur’s Cottage, Slemish, Glenwhirry and Crebilly to hear tales relating to, amongst others, the wicked Dr Colville, the Coach Road highwaymen, the Headless Horseman and, of course, St Patrick.

Tickets are 13 per person; the family ticket at 25 is particularly good value as 2 adults and up to 2 children can travel on this ticket. The tour departs from The Braid, Bridge Street at 10am and returns at 3.30pm (approx). This tour is not suitable for the under 7s. An adult must accompany children under 16. A limited amount of the tour is on foot.
