High School enjoys Stormont trip

MEMBERS of the Board of Governors at Banbridge High School recently visited Parliament Buildings Stormont. The visit, facilitated by Ulster Unionist MLA Jo-Anne Dobson included a guided tour of The Great Hall, Senate Chamber and Assembly Chamber.

The group, included school principal Mr Andrew Bell and Chair of the Board of Governors Mrs Margaret Mayne.

After the visit Mrs Dobson said, “It was a pleasure to meet the Governors at Stormont. Links between those in leadership roles in our local schools and the Northern Ireland Assembly are incredibly important.

“I commend the Board of Governors, Principal Mr Bell, teachers and all the staff at Banbridge High School for their continuing excellent work and wish all the pupils every success in their future studies.”
