Help police keep the roads safe

The Police Service of Northern Ireland are asking everyone who has an interest in keeping roads safe to help promote important safety messages through a Social Media Takeover over the next few weeks.

Road Safety messages will appear on the PSNI’s Facebook and Twitter accounts on April 21, May 5, and May 26 with a different message for each day and for each social media platform.

Banbridge Area Commander, Chief Inspector Ian Campbell said: “Recognising that many people use social media platforms as a source of information, especially when they are on the go, we are using our Twitter and Facebook sites to encourage the sharing of road safety messages. And we need your help.

“If you are already a follower of the PSNI Facebook or Twitter accounts then all you need to do is like, share and retweet.

“For those of you who haven’t signed up, do it now!

“We want to reach as many people as possible over those three key dates and by showing your support for making our roads safer for everyone.”
