Hard-working Teresa is town’s Supermum

Teresa McDonnell is SuperValu Banbridge’s winner and will be one of 30 mums from across Northern Ireland who will be honoured at a prestigious ceremony at Stormont in October.

Teresa was nominated for the work she does as an ambassador for Diabetes UK, helping to raise money and awareness through collections and events as well as the work she does on a daily basis with vulnerable children. She will now go on to attend the celebration event at Stormont on October 1.

The inaugural SuperValu SuperMums campaign is sponsored by P&G, launched in March and received over 200 nominations of inspiring, gutsy and much-loved mothers and 30 finalists have been chosen from SuperValu stores in Northern Ireland.

The grand final will be hosted by TV personality Claire McCollum who will crown the overall SuperValu SuperMum 2014 and the winner will take home a family holiday to Malaga, courtesy of Jet2.com, with each finalist receiving a pamper hamper.
