Handbag stolen from car

Police in Banbridge are appealing for information after a handbag was stolen from a car which was parked in Scarva Park.

On Thursday, 10 September, a white Vauxhall Corsa car was parked in the park.

Sometime between 1.15pm and 1.50pm the car was entered and a tan coloured handbag and a purse were stolen.

Constable Forster said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the bag and purse being stolen.

“Or from anyone who has information which may assist our investigation.

“We can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 535 100915.

“We would also remind car owners to ensure their vehicles are locked, with all windows secured and all valuables removed from sight when they leave their car unattended.”
