Had no insurance
A Dromore man was fined £500 last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court for driving without insurance on September 11 last year.
Gareth Rodgers (34), Castle Mills, Dromore, was also given eight points and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard he was stopped while driving at Main Street, Gilford, and admitted to police the vehicle was not insured. Deputy District Judge Rosalie Prytherch said that Rodgers had a previous similar offence but it was some time ago.
