Drumlough and Ballygorian Rural Development Association would like to say thank-you!

They are expressing their gratitude to all those who helped out and supported their recent Community Festival that concluded with their annual treasure hunt, barbecue, fireworks and dance on Friday July 26.

A spokesperson for the Association said they were overwhelmed with the support they received from right across the community.

“We had approximately 800-900 people who attended and we were very pleased to be able to continue to hold what is still one of the biggest family orientated community festivals in the area and we wish to thank all those who attended and made it such a huge success.

“We would like to thank Banbridge Aeromodelling Club who came along and provided some spectacular flying displays, along with the ‘sweetie drop’ which entertained all of the children.”

The group also thanked Newry and Mourne Council for their financial assistance through their Community Festival Fund.
