Green light for beer festival reignites Buskfest alcohol ban debate
Banbridge District Council’s decision to approve a three-day beer festival in the town later this year, has reignited questions on whether the no alcohol ban at Buskfest should continue.
However, after councillors voted in favour of backing Oktoberfest, which will showcase German food, beer and culture, at Solitude Park in October, a number of members have expressed interest in having the no alcohol ban lifted at Buskfest.
