The court heard that at 6pm police received a report of a domestic incident at Thomas Street in Portadown.

The injured party had redness to the right side of her neck and claimed that the defendant had grabbed her by the neck and left arm and slammed her into a wall.

Mr Richard Monteith, representing the defendant, said his client spent two days in police custody as a result of this incident.

He explained that Puschi had been working in Spain and the injured party had invited him to come to Portadown
