Go walking for Meningitis charity funds

The group have organised a 10-mile walk along Newry Canal on Sunday March 27 and are appealing for as many local people as possible to take part and raise vital funds for the chairty.

The refreshing Spring walk will start from just outside Portadown following the towpath to Moneypenny’s Lock, continuing through Scarva past Acton Lake and finishing up in Poyntzpass where light refreshments and a well-deserved rest will be provided.

Register now for an enjoyable day out while burning some calories. There is a £5 registration fee and the charity have asked for those taking part to raise a minimum of £35 in sponsorship.
