Get your walking boots on for the Hospice

HOSPICE walkers are preparing for their annual autumn walk on Saturday September 29. This year the group will head south to Glendalough within the beautiful Wicklow Mountains national Park.

There are various walking trails ranging from 5km – 11km taking us through some of the most spectacular scenery in Co. Wicklow.

You will experience views of Poulanass Waterfall, Glendalough Oak woodlands, Glenealo Valley, home to a large herd of deer and the Lugduff Valley.

Those taking part will spend the night at the Glendalough Hotel where they can relax, enjoy a three course meal at the restaurant and a night’s craic with their fellow walkers.

Last year’s walk in Fermanagh was a great success, raising over £5,000 towards hospice care services, which was a fantastic boost to funds.

Participants are asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of £50 to secure your place and raise a minimum sponsorship of £200 which covers dinner, bed & breakfast and transport. Sponsor cards available on registration.

The Hospice hopes you will be able to join us for what promises to be a great weekend. If you would like more information please contact Tracey in the fundraising office on 028 3025 1333 or email [email protected]
