The challenge is a weight loss programme which will focus on three different elements required to help people lose weight:

1. Good nutrition

2. Exercise

3. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) describes a number of therapies that all have a similar approach to solving problems.  CBT works by changing people’s attitudes and their behaviour.

All individuals must sign up to take part in the Praxis Care St Valentine’s Diet Challenge and need to raise a minimum of £80 sponsorship money including £20 registration fee.

Geraldine Andrews, Fundraising Officer for Praxis Care says, “The Praxis Care St Valentine’s Diet Challenge is a fun and healthy way to support the work of Praxis Care.
