Get FRESH with new healthy eating programme

BANBRIDGE councillors recently helped launch a new healthy eating initiative across the district.

The programme “Focusing Resources on Eating and Shaping Health” (FRESH) aims to give support and advice to local community groups throughout the Banbridge area as well as Craigavon, Dungannon and South Tyrone, and Newry and Mourne.

FRESH will work with the groups until March 2011 by encouraging and supporting members trying to achieve a healthy, balanced and safe diet by providing practical community-based support and advice on nutrition and healthy eating.
