BANBRIDGE residents can benefit from the ‘Warm Homes Scheme’ funded by the Department for Social Development.

Local DUP representatives have taken the opportunity to encourage local people to find out more about the scheme. The Warm Homes Scheme is funded by the Department for Social Development, administered by the Housing Executive and delivered by Bryson Energy in the Banbridge area. The scheme is targeted at homeowners and private tenants who receive a qualifying benefit, and provides a package of insulation and heating measures.

Since the Launch of Warm Homes in July 2009, the Scheme has provided insulation and heating measures to over 1500 households in the local area.

We want to encourage local residents interested in the scheme to call into anyof our three full-time constituency offices across Upper Bann where our staff will be able to advise them on their eligibility for Warm Homes and assist them in submitting an application.”

Louise Magee, Referrals Manager with Bryson Energy said, “The scheme provides a package of insulation and heating measures to eligible home owners and private rented tenants who are in receipt of a qualifying benefit..”
