DJs from across Northern Ireland are preparing for a day of electronic music bliss this weekend as they join a host of international artists for Joy Festival at Fusion Complex in Drogheda on Sunday 5 August.
The country’s best up and coming spinners including L.E.D, MickMag & JustBob, Hart-Sergeri, Shane O’Hagan, Colin Gent, Syko & Sibby, Jonny Haslett and Phat Tony perform at the multi-arena festival, which also boasts sun terraces, barbecue, and over 60 other DJs!
It’s the second outing for Joy Festival after its hugely successful debut at Christmas last year, which saw thousands of revellers from across Ireland, and many from England and Wales, enjoy ten hours of non-stop audio niceties at the music extravaganza.
This year Joy Festival is headlined by DJs and producers from across the world including Andy Moor, Sean Tyas, D-Block & S-te-fan, Alex Kidd, Kutski, Orjan Nilsen, Argy, Scot Project, Alex Morph, Andy Whitby, and many others.
Some of the biggest electronic music brands from GB are also involved with Goodgreef hosting the Future Trance Arena and Bionic taking control of the hard dance area.
Joy festival organisers say, “After the hugely successful Joy Festival last winter we are now delivering Ireland’s only dance music festival this summer.
“We have recruited some of the most popular artist on the planet, as well as the freshest talent from both sides of the border, to ensure this is a showpiece event that will be remembered for years to come.
“Our outdoor sun terraces, barbecue, and festival surprises will ensure a summer feel throughout the day/night and with only days to go the excitement is getting more and more intense!
“Buses are running to and from the festival from across Northern Ireland including Belfast, Lisburn, Portadown, Lurgan, Banbridge, Newry, Armagh and Enniskillen.
“A full list of buses and times are available on the official festival website www.joyfestivalireland.com . To book a seat on any of the buses people need to contact us directly via our Facebook profile www.facebook.com/joyfestival .
“We are looking forward to another fantastic festival experience with the music-loving public taking centre stage. It promises to be something very special indeed.”
