Ferguson Homestead event CANCELLED - tractor run to go ahead
ORGANISERS of this Saturday (August 18)’s planned Harry Ferguson Homestead event have announced its cancellation, while at the same time indicating that Friday night’s tractor run will go ahead as scheduled.
The Harry Ferguson Celebration Committee announced early this morning (Wednesday, August 15) that the main Saturday event, as reported in yesterday’s Leader, had been abandoned “due to poor conditions and pre-event poor weather forecast”.
A spokesman added, “However, we are staging our tractor road run as planned on the Friday night, 17th Aug.”
