Mr Ferguson said, “When I go round the doors I often ask people if they are happy with Stormont and if they believe it is working for them. I have yet to meet anyone in Upper Bann who has said they are happy with the current set up or its delivery. My message to those people is clear - do not make the same mistake again by voting for the parties which gave us this mess. Stormont is incapable of working as it ensures that a party dedicated to the destruction of Northern Ireland, Sinn Fein, is in government as of right for ever. Only TUV has proposed a way forward on this matter. We should either have voluntary coalition government between parties which can agree... or we should scrap the failed executive and have British Ministers with the vital difference that they are accountable to the Assembly.”
