Fashionistas show support to glam charity fashion show

Fashionistas flocked to Iveagh Movie studios recently for the Diamond Dolls ‘spring/summer spectacular’ fashion show.

The event which raised £1270 for the NSPCC was hosted by MLA Jo-Anne Dobson and also featured SM shoes (Rathfriland) and Paul Costelloe (The Outlet).

The show was organised by Emma Coburn who was also modelling. Emma is a retail manager and area co-ordinator for Mexx and organised the show in her spare time.

There were 7 male models including a former Irish International hockey player and 10 female models including a 2014 Miss Northern Ireland contestant, a former Miss Northern Ireland runner up contestant, a NI international women’s volleyball player, a NIMFA entrant, and a L’oreal colour trophy model.

Entertainment was provided by fashion stylist ‘silver brogues’ and local singer Paula Magill.

Music was provided by local DJ – Stevie Greene.

A representative from NSPCC was there on the night, as well as helpers from the NSPCC Banbridge committee.

Guests were greeted with cupcakes and cava.

Two members of the audience were drawn out to win a hair and makeup makeover on the night as well as £50 vouchers for Diamond dolls and SM shoes.

Many raffle prizes were donated for restaurants, hair, beauty, fashions and home.

There were stalls on the night from Slimming world, Emma’s Little Trove, Body shop, Flawless, Diamond dolls, Epiphany Designs, SM shoes, and Actiderm/actidiet.
