Fashion show for St Colman's

A fashion show was held on Sunday 3 April in aid of St Colman's Primary School and All Saint's Nursery as well as '˜Emily Fund' Children's Cancer Fund.

It was organised by Parents Association Chair Women Charlene Malone and Siobhan McGivern.

Models were mothers or family members, teachers, teaching assistants and children from the school.

Children’s wear was supplied by Baby Elegance at Toners in Newry.

Womenswear was supplied by Walk in Wardrobe in Banbridge and Martha Jaynes in Rathfriland.

All photography was by Louise Photography, Newry, who very kindly donated the first prize for the raffle which was a £200 voucher for use in her studio and was won by Leontia McGivern.

“There were very kind donations from the community and further afield,” said Siobhan McGivern. “It couldn’t have been a success without them!

“A special thank you to Louise Florists Rathfriland, Blondies Salon, Hilltown for the hair styling, The Look beauty salon Rathfriland, Hillview beauty Annaclone and Ramona Burns for make up.

“Ramona was also compere for the event sharing her wide knowledge of beauty on the day.

“A total of £4000 raised for much needed funding for the school and a big thank you to all involved.”
