F1 challenge: Full speed ahead to Silverstone for Carrick designers
Carrickfergus Grammar School's Endeavour F1 team is gearing up for next month's national finals in England.
Technology pupils Kyle Hutton, Chris Hogg, Lauryn Gibb and Crystal Milroy were second in the Northern Ireland F1 in Schools competition held in Ballymena.
As well as winning ‘Best engineered car’, ‘Innovative thinking’, and ‘Best use of research and development’ awards, they qualified for the chequered flag event of the at Silverstone Race Track.
