Over 20 young aspiring entrepreneurs attended a very successful Ideation Camp in Banbridge Old Town Hall as part of the Bright Idea Programme.
This scheme is an innovative business start-up programme for young people.
It helps in assisting local young entrepreneurs with the pre-start and start-up phases of their business ideas to positively impact on the local economy by becoming business owners.
The programme encourages innovation and entrepreneurship and motivates potential business owners in the 18 to 29 age group, to think and act positively to get their business idea off the ground. Anyone interested in participating on the programme should visit www.brightideani.com for more information or call 028 3082 1100.
Councillor Olive Mercer, Chairman of Banbridge District Council, commented, “The Bright Idea programme gives the young people of Banbridge a fantastic opportunity to become young entrepreneurs and will help to equip young people with the skills and knowledge to improve their business idea.
“I would encourage young entrepreneurs in the area to get involved.”
