Entrance to park is closed
The Bridge Street entrance to Solitude Park will be closed for 12-weeks to accommodate road works.
The work, by DRD, is to construct a short link bypassing the north-east corner of the junction linking Bridge Street directly to Rathfriland Road.
This scheme will see Gospel Lane extended to the north-west, along what is currently a footpath, to meet Bridge Street.
Park users are advised to use alternative entrances to the park while the works are being completed.
