Enterprise Centre social media event

The Social Shake Up event in Banbridge Enterprise Centre, Scarva Road Industrial Estate, Banbridge on Thursday 26th February at 10am is designed to show businesses what opportunities Social Media presents for businesses and how they can take advantage of them.

The Social Shake Up is part of the #optimiSE programme and is part funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund under the Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland together with the seven SEED Councils including Banbridge District Council.

Mark Bleakney, Invest NI’s Southern Regional Manager, said “the #optimiSE programme provides a helpful resource to make online marketing a less daunting experience for businesses in the area.

“ I would encourage as many firms in the SEED council area to get involved and take advantage of the digital platform and all the opportunities it presents.”

Ahead of the Shake Up Daryl Conway, SEED Digital Champion, revealed a digital marketing tip:

·        Think ‘Hypervisulation’ in other words re think your business visually. Posts accompanied with images receive 40-120% more engagement than those without. 

The #optimiSE Programme will provide expert mentoring support to 15 businesses in the ‘Banbridge Council Area and 105 businesses across the SEED region covering a number of subjects including social media, branding, eCommerce and web development.
