Encore performance for ‘Songs in the Park’

‘SONGS in the Park’, a local community initiative led by Banbridge Clergy Fellowship, makes a welcome return to Solitude Park, Banbridge on Sunday 20 May at 3pm.

The return of this very popular event was made possible thanks to funding secured from Banbridge District Council’s Good Relations Programme.

The event will feature a special performance by Banbridge District Cross-Community Choir who will be accompanied by musical director Norman Brown and include guest performances by the choir from Donard Special School, Banbridge.

This free event is offered to everyone who wishes to enjoy an afternoon of popular music and hymns in the beautiful natural surroundings of Solitude Park. Seating is limited and will be available on a first come first served basis. No advanced reserved seating is available.

Although this event is offered free of charge, anyone attending will be offered the opportunity to make a contribution to the Council Chairman’s nominated charity, Donard to Disney.
