Egg-stra Easter activities for the whole family to enjoy

Banbridge District Council announced details of an ‘egg-stra’ special activity programme for all the family during the Easter holiday period.

The events are organised in conjunction with the Active Communities Programme, Banbridge District Arts Committee and Banbridge District Sports Association, and the programme has been developed to enable individuals from across the district to take part in a wide variety of recreational activities.

Running from Wednesday April 23 to 25, over 200 individuals will be able to take part in this year’s programme. Among the sports courses on offer are angling, multi sports and hip hop dance.

Arts and crafts activities on offer include workshops in Puppet Play and Dinky Drama, Jungle Journey, Enchanted Easter Trees, Chicks and Puppets, Bunnies and Bugs and Spring Kites.

Courses will be held in a number of facilities including Banbridge Leisure Centre, Gilford Community Centre and the Old Town Hall, Banbridge.

The final date for booking a course or activity featured in the programme is Friday April 11. Spaces are limited.
