Pupils at St Patrick’s College have done themselves proud, according to the school’s principal.
Mrs Anne Mallon was speaking after pupils received their A-Level results last week.
Over half of the school’s students have received grades A*-C in their final results.
She said that her pupils had some difficult choices ahead of them, but that the College was on hand to help.
“There are so many pathways available now for young people at third level and we are certain that all our students will be able to pursue courses that suit their ability and will prove instrumental in preparing them for the world of work,” she said.
“All of this was achieved through the dedicated work of our staff, the support of interested parents and of course, the hard working students themselves.
“Our community are well aware of the refurbishment that is occurring in St Patrick’s at the moment.
“We are certain that St Patrick’s College is proving itself as a school of excellence, meeting the needs of all our students in the future.”
