Dromore woman was well-known

WELL-known former Dromore woman Mrs. Margaret Craig died recently, aged 70, at Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital.

It was only in recent years that Margaret left Dromore, moving to Coolkill Road, Tynan, Co. Armagh, to be near her daughter.

Herself daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Eva Watson and widow of the late Mr. John Andrew Craig, Margaret is survived by son Stephen and daughter-in-law Kathryn, Poyntzpass; son Nigel and daughter-in-law Jill, Banbridge; daughter Mrs. Tracey Magill and son-in-law Trevor, Tynan and grandchildren Andrew and Aaron Craig, Banbridge and Becky and Judy Magill, Tynan.

Also, brothers Charles, Jim and Martin Watson and sisters-in-law Elva, Hazel and Olive; sisters Mrs. Phylis Ireland and Mrs. Mary Gibson and brother-in-law Noel Gibson, all Dromore.

Mrs. Craig attended both Dromore Cathedral and St. John’s Church of Ireland, Middletown.

Dean of Dromore, the Rev. Stephen Lowry and the Rev. Barry Paine, Middletown, officiated at Mrs. Craig’s funeral service in Dromore Cathedral on Tuesday, July 22.

Funeral arrangements were by John Gamble, Dromore.
