Dromore WI meet Sainsburys
PRESIDENT Mrs Bette Hanna welcomed everyone to the February meeting of Dromore Women’s Institute and especially the visitors from Hillsborough, St John’s and Dollingstown WI.
Guest speakers for the evening were Jenny Ward and Richard Heaton from Sainsburys who gave a very interesting talk on the history of Sainsburys.
Afterwards the group enjoyed samples of all kinds of delicious savory and sweet food.
The competition prize for the homemade rememdy was won by Florence Doonan and the ballot prize by Helen McKendry.
