Dromore High School pupil preparing for trip to Kenya

DUP Councillor and Assembly Candidate Carla Lockhart has wished Banbridge girl and Dromore High School pupil Chloe Martin well as she prepares to travel to Kenya this year with the Dromore High School Kenya Project 2016.

Speaking following a coffee morning at Bannside Presbyerian Church, Cllr Lockhart said: “I want to congratulate Chloe and her team of helpers particularly her grandmother for hosting such a successful coffee morning.

“I was delighted to attend and learn a little of the plans Chloe and the team have when they travel to Kenya to help out at a school.

“As someone who has travelled to Kenya twice to help out on mission trips I know all to well the challenges both physical and emotional that Chloe and the team will face.

“I also know that the trip will be a life changing one and will help them value what we have personally here in this Western World.

“I wish Chloe and the team well as they travel and look forward to hearing of their amazing journeys in the great land of Kenya.”
