Driver disqualified for six months

A COLERAINE woman has been disqualified from driving for six months for driving with no licence, failing to wear a seat belt and failing to produce a driving licence.

North Antrim Magistrates' Court heard that police observed Audrey Georgina Craig (38) of Bushmills Road, driving along Castle Street, Ballymoney without wearing a seat belt on December 16 last year.

Officers stopped the vehicle and cautioned Craig. She was unable to produce a licence and police asked her to surrender it to the police station, which she failed to do.

District Judge, Richard Wilson, also fined the defendant 150.
