Dobson praises Banbridge MS Society cake break effort

The Banbridge MS Society Team who organised a ‘Cake Break’ Coffee morning have been praised by Ulster Unionist MLA Jo-Anne Dobson.

The event was held in the Old Town Hall on Saturday morning and raised £605

Commenting Mrs Dobson said: “There was a terrific buzz in the Town Hall on Saturday morning and this was all down to the hard work of Marianna Ervine, Bronagh Cochrane and the rest of the local team along with Society Ambassador Peter Cardwell from UTV. They have done so much to help local people who suffer from MS.

“Overall the charity aims to raise £350,000 to finance research to help find a cure for MS - the fantastic work of the Banbridge group on Saturday will help them reach this goal!”
