Delight at St. Patrick's College

STAFF and pupils at St Patrick's College have said they were delighted with the success of their pupils in A Level examinations again this year.

These results were hailed as especially pleasing for the parents of those pupils who were anxiously waiting on their results.

Mr Paul Carlin, the school's principal, congratulated the students on achieving their A-Level grades and obtaining University places.

“I am delighted to announce 96 per cent A – E grades at A-Level with 10 per cent of our students achieving ‘A’ grades, including an A* also. “All have worked extremely hard throughout the past two years and are very deserving of their excellent results,” he said.

He also paid tribute to the staff of the College who motivated and encouraged the students to continue their studies throughout their time at St Patrick’s College.

St Patrick’s College offers a wide range of post-16 courses which are open to pupils from other schools.

Sixth Form open morning is on Friday August 27 from 9–10.30am. Everyone is welcome.
