Deaths around the local community this week

The death took place, peacefully at hospital, on April 15 of Margaret (Peggy) Burns of Pinebank, Craigavon.

She was the wife of the late Brian, mother of Adrian, Dermot, Brian, Mary and Maurice and grandmother to Hannah, mother-in-law to Kathryn and sister of the late Brian Mullholland and Sheila Lawless. Her funeral was on Friday to St John’s Church, Craigavon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

William McCarroll

The death took place, peacefully at hospital, on April 20 of William (Billy) McCarroll of Churchill Avenue, Lurgan.

He was the husband of the late Barbara and father of Edna and Allan.

His funeral service was in Hill Street Presbyterian Church on Wednesday followed by interment at Lurgan Cemetery.
