He was conditionally discharged for two years and ordered to pay the injured party £285 for damaging the window.

A PPS Prosecutor explained how on 12 July at 1.05am, Sinnamon was intoxicated when he banged on the window of a house in Princes Street, Dromore.

He managed to smash the window and was trying to persuade his ex-partner to come home.

When police went to find him, they called at his house and went inside following a trail of blood.

However he was not there, but they followed the blood and found him 100 yards away lying unconscious and bleeding from the head and hands.

He was taken to Craigavon Hospital for treatment and later interviewed when he made no comment.

A solicitor said Sinnamon was going through a difficult time with his family and home life.

The court heard there was heavy involvement with Social Services and drink had “got the better of him.”

The solicitor said Sinnamon accepted how scary the incident would have been for his ex partner and children, but he was working closely with social services and was making good progress.

He was given 10 weeks to pay the fine.
