Donaghcloney and Rathfriland are to play host to two public police engagement meetings for the Banbridge and Lagan River Areas.
The meetings, under the auspices of the Armagh Banbridge and Craigavon Policing and Community Safety Partnership, are to take place on Thursday 22 September at 7pm, in Rathfriland Fire Station, and Wednesday 28 September at 7.30pm, in Donaghcloney Rural Needs.
Neighbourhood Watch groups, local community representatives and members of the public interested in working with the police and the PCSP to prevent crime are invited to attend.
A spokesperson said: “The purpose of the meetings is to discuss what the key issues are within your local area and to give local people the opportunity to put forward any views, issues or concerns directly to the PSNI.
“The PSNI will provide a report on crime and community safety issues in the local area over the last quarter.
“The Lagan River meeting being held in Donaghcloney will also include a discussion on the possibility of establishing a Park Watch Scheme in Dromore.”
For further information contact Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon PCSP in the Banbridge office on 028 406 20246.
The meetings are among a series of seven organised to take place in each of the District Electoral Areas in the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon
area during September.
