PSNI deal with youths gathering at an NI train station
and live on Freeview channel 276
Safe Transport Team were back in Portadown train station again this week to deal with youths gathering close to the station.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “We’re aware of ongoing issues with youths gathering in and around the train station and Obins Street area.

Hide Ad“Due to current ongoing regulations, the train station is for essential travellers only and Translink have signs clearly displayed that you should only enter their premises if you are using their services.
“This is to protect everyone. You. Staff. Passengers. Everyone.
“We, along with our colleagues in Portadown Neighbourhood team, Lurgan Neighbourhood team and Translink, will be keeping an eye on this situation.
“The Health Protection Regulations apply to everyone, including young people, and we all have a part to play in ensuring our spaces are safe for all.”
