Police want man who ‘offered child sweets’

POLICE in Banbridge are keen to speak to the driver and passengers of a blue sports type car that was driving in the Gowanvale Drive area on Friday, 12 August.

The car stopped at a roundbaout in Gowandale drive around 6pm. The car was driven by a male with a male and female passenger also present. The male passenger spoke to a young male child and offered him sweets before the child ran off.

The car has four doors and a spoiler on the back. The seats were black with red seat belts. The female passenger had black hair and a number of tattoos on her arm and the male passenger wore a red and black hat.

Police are keen to speak to the three people in the car and also anyone who witnessed this incident. They can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
