Police tackling breaches of Covid rules
Police in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon have now issued 93 Community Resolution Notices in the district between March and Monday (October 19), for breaches of Covid-19 rules.
An update from the PSNI show 88 Covid fines were issued to people over the age of 18 in the district since the restrictions came into force.
A total of 29 commercial/private prohibition notices were issued to licensed premises, or for restrictions of gatherings in a private dwelling. Police also issued four failure to isolate notices (£1,000 fine).
Across Northern Ireland the police have handed out 1,474 penalty notices in respect of Covid rule breaches.
