Money taken as elderly man is burgled
POLICE in Banbridge are appealing for information after a report of a burglary at residential premises of an elderly man in the Blackskull Road area last night (Monday).
At around 9:50pm, it was reported that four masked men entered a house in the area. It is believed that a sum of money was taken during the incident. A 76 year old man was in the property, but is not believed to have been harmed. Enquiries are continuing.
