Man charged in connection with £20,000 drug seizure
A man has been charged in connection with the seizure of suspected Class A drugs, thought to have a street value of £20,000
The 28 year old man has been charged with two counts of possession of a class A controlled drug, two counts of possession of a class A controlled drug with intent to supply and possession of a class C controlled drug.
He is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Wednesday 5 October. As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.The charges relate to a search in the Annaghview Court area of Portadown on the evening of Wednesday 7 September where suspected class A controlled drugs with an estimated street value of £20,000 were seized. A 32 year old woman who was also arrested has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
