Had five previous convictions

A motorist who had five previous convictions for driving without insurance was banned for 12 months.

Sean Paul McAtamney (34), of Hunters Hill Road, Gilford, was fined £200 for not
having insurance on April 27 and has to pay a £15 offender’s levy.

Mr Conor Downey, representing the defendant, said his client accepted he would get a lengthy disqualification.

District Judge, Mr Alan White, said McAtamney had five previous convictions for no insurance.
