Burglars ransack homes

THIEVES stole jewellery, a televisionand a quad during a series of burglaries on Wednesday March 21.

Houses at Oak Hill Road, Kinallen Road and Scolban Road in Dromore were broken into during daylight hours. The homes were ransacked and jewellery and a television were taken.

An outhouse in Grove Road, Dromara was also broken into and a red Honda quad was taken.

Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any activity, including vehicles, around these areas during this time to contact them. They are also asking any resident who is approached by unexpected callers to their homes to contact police immediately. The number to phone is 0845 600 8000.
